Defensive Handgun Training, LLC is offering the NRA Rifle Instructor Course on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2009.

Please note that this is a two (2) day course that will begin at 8 a.m. on both days and conclude around 6 p.m. on both days as well. You will receive a confirmation email message with more information about this course, specific times, location and items to bring if you sign up for it.

This is a 20 hour course and includes:

NRA Basic Instructor Course (for those who are not a current NRA Instructor – 6 hour course)
NRA Rifle Instructor Course (14 hour course)

If you are already a current NRA instructor, then you do not have to be there until 2:00 pm on Saturday.

Course cost is $180.00 ($120 if you do NOT have to take the NRA Basic Instructor Course) and pre-payment is required one week prior to the course. The payment is non-refundable if you no-show and $100 is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the course. We will be offering the NRA Pistol Instructor Course on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2009. Please note that this is a 2 day course.

You are required to have attended the Advanced Concealed Carry course in order to register and attend this course. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: handgun (preferably 9mm / .38 Special and above), strong-side belt holster, at least 3 magazines / speed loaders, dual magazine holder, eye & ear protection, ball cap, lawn chair, lunch, drinks (I will have a 5 gallon water container with cups), sun block, insect repellent, boots (if wet) and appropriate clothing for the weather.
