Great opportunity for permit holders to review safety, fundamentals, when they can & can’t use force, and when / where they can carry a deadly weapon. Also, great opportunity for those who are unsure if they want a permit.

We will be offering the Kentucky, Ohio and Florida non-resident CCW course on Saturday November 12, 2011.

NOTE: This is a replacement of the Tactical Rifle Class that was cancelled due to high demand for this CCDW Course.

NOTICE: You must be a resident of Kentucky for the Kentucky CCW Course and an Ohio resident for the Ohio/Florida Course. Please sign up for the course appropriate to where you live due to residency requirements.

NOTICE: Due to logistical issues around no-shows and payment collections, the full course payment is now required at least one week prior to the course date. If your payment in full is not received by one week prior to the course, you will be removed from the registration and your spot filled from the standby list.

The Kentucky CCW portion will be from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and the Ohio and Florida course will continue until 8:00 p.m.

The cost of the KY CCW is $85 and the OH/FL CCW is $125 (you get both the OH and FL CCW permits with residency requirements).

COURSE CONTENT: This course is designed to build on what was taught in the Advanced Concealed Carry Course. You are required to have attended the Advanced Concealed Carry course in order to register and attend this course. Exceptions are made for people with prior experience, such as military and law enforcement. Please use the contact form if you think you should be exempted from this requirement.

• Precision Shooting Techniques
• Balancing Speed & Accuracy
• Close Quarters Combat Shooting
• Point Shooting

IMPORTANT NOTE: Although possession of a concealed carry license is not a requirement, it is imperative that you have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of shooting.

COST: $170. Full course pre-payment is required.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: handgun (preferably 9mm / .38 Special and above), strong-side belt holster, at least 3 magazines / speed loaders, dual magazine holder, eye & ear protection, ball cap, lawn chair, lunch, drinks (I will have a 5 gallon water container with cups), sun block, insect repellent, boots (if wet) and appropriate clothing for the weather. The Advanced Concealed Carry Course is a pre-requisite to attending the Handgun Tactics Course.

The Advanced Concealed Carry Course will be held Saturday August 27, 2011.
