NRA Rifle Instructor Course November 7 and 8, 2009
Defensive Handgun Training, LLC is offering the NRA Rifle Instructor Course on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2009.
Please note that this is a two (2) day course that will begin at 8 a.m. on both days and conclude around 6 p.m. on both days as well. You will receive a confirmation email message with more information about this course, specific times, location and items to bring if you sign up for it.
This is a 20 hour course and includes:
NRA Basic Instructor Course (for those who are not a current NRA Instructor – 6 hour course)
NRA Rifle Instructor Course (14 hour course)
If you are already a current NRA instructor, then you do not have to be there until 2:00 pm on Saturday.
Course cost is $180.00 ($120 if you do NOT have to take the NRA Basic Instructor Course) and pre-payment is required one week prior to the course. The payment is non-refundable if you no-show and $100 is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the course. Sorry for this policy, but it is frustrating to have no-shows with people on the standby list.

We will be offering the NRA Pistol Instructor Course on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2009. Please note that this is a 2 day course.

- Use of Deadly Force

- Close Quarters Combat Shooting

IMPORTANT NOTE: Although possession of a concealed carry license is not a requirement, it is imperative that you have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of shooting.
COST: $150. Full course pre-payment is required.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: handgun (preferably 9mm / .38 Special and above), strong-side belt holster, at least 3 magazines / speed loaders, dual magazine holder, eye & ear protection, ball cap, lawn chair, lunch, drinks (I will have a 5 gallon water container with cups), sun block, insect repellent, boots (if wet) and appropriate clothing for the weather. Saturday June 13 KY, OH, FL CCW Course
We will be offering the Kentucky, Ohio and Florida non-resident CCW course on Saturday June 13, 2009.
The Kentucky CCW portion will be from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and the Ohio and Florida course will continue until 8:00 p.m.
The cost of the KY CCW is $85 and the OH/FL CCW is $125 (you get both CCW permits).
Registration will no longer be accepted for these courses via our contact form. You must now register through our course registration page. This will allow us to automate our registration, providing you with accurate information about the class. This also creates a standby list for us in case of a last minute cancellation or other opening in our courses.
