Advanced Concealed Carry Course Dates Announced

The Advanced Concealed Carry Course will be held in October. The course dates will be: Saturday, October 11th or Sunday, October 12th. This is a one-day course, so these are two independent training dates.

I will likely not teach any courses from December - March due to winter weather and to give myself a break.
WHEN: Saturday, October 11th or Sunday, October 12th. Starts at 8:30 am & will finish around 6:00 pm.
WHERE: Union, KY (address and directions will be provided once you sign up).
COURSE CONTENT: This course is specifically designed for those with concealed carry permits and will cover the following subject matter:
Fundamentals of Shooting
Drawing from a Holster & Drawing from Concealment
Strong and Weak Hand Shooting
Emergency & Tactical Reloading
Malfunction Clearing Drills
Conflict Avoidance
Use of Deadly Force
and much more….
IMPORTANT NOTE: Although possession of a concealed carry license is not a requirement, it is imperative that you have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of shooting.
COST: $140. Former students of Defensive Handgun Training LLC will be charged $130. Full course pre-payment is required.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: handgun (preferably 9mm / .38 Special and above), strong-side belt holster, at least 3 magazines / speed loaders, dual magazine holder, eye & ear protection, ball cap, lawn chair, lunch, drinks (I will have a 5 gallon water container with cups), sun block, insect repellent, boots (if wet) and appropriate clothing for the weather.
